The national days that take place each year in Spring are very much a part of the school's calendar. These include Holocaust Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and finally Nakba Day. The Nakba commemoration is usually held close to May 15, but this year was delayed due to the Gaza crisis. Besides binational activities for all the children, there are also uninational ones. On Monday, the Arab children marked the occasion in the auditorium with stories, music and songs.
